The magic returns!

The spectacular RTG Festival of Light 2025 promises to be even bigger and better than ever. Expect amazing light shows, interactive fun and live music, all set against the stunning backdrop of our beautiful Japanese Lake. We’ve also got a few nice surprises up our sleeves too!

Imagine this; The Japanese Lake, Kitchen Gardens and woodlands transformed with vibrant colours and captivating sculptures. Interactive activities spark your imagination, while live music fills the air and lasers paint amazing coloured patterns in the night sky.

Indulge in delicious treats; There’ll be a variety of vendors to tempt your taste buds with hot food, desserts and treats. Northern Monkey Brewery will also be offering a selection of refreshing drinks.

Something for everyone; This Festival is perfect for families, providing a dazzling family friendly spectacle – without the loud bangs of fireworks!

Important Accessibility Notes:

• This event takes place high up on Winter Hill, with numerous steep slopes, sets of stairways, and uneven surfaces.

• You will need to wear sturdy shoes and allow 25-30 minutes from the car park.

• Dress appropriately for the potentially chilly October weather.

• Bring a torch for the walk back as it gets dark quickly.

• Only assistance dogs are allowed due to safety concerns.

• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
