Out of stock
Join us for a fascinating guided tour of Rivington Terraced Gardens.
Tours are led by our History and Gardens experts (volunteers) from the Friends of Rivington Terraced Gardens, and the content changes regularly.
The Gardens sit at an elevation of around 900ft and the tracks up are steep in places.
You will need to be able to walk up to the gardens, and then walk around the gardens at a steady, but fairly gentle, pace. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring water/a drink with you.
Meeting point: Lower House Car Park at 9:30 (Find us on Google maps by searching for “Pigeon Tower Car Park”)
The current Covid restrictions mean we have to strictly limit numbers. Only people who have purchased a ticket will be allowed to participate.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are okay around other people and dogs and are kept on a lead at all times.
The tour will take approximately 3 hours;
Strong footwear and clothing for all weathers are essential;
We shall climb steadily and there will be long flights of steps.
There are no toilet facilities in the garden.
